Arrivals

Check in time is any time after 3pm and check-out time is 10am. A later check out may be possible, please ask about availability and pricing. Payment is due upon check-in, we accept cash or Cheques. Tabs will be calculated thorough out your stay and payable on check out. Upon arrival waivers must be signed by boaters, hunters, and RV guest to ensure the safety and courtesy of everyone.

If you expect to arrive earlier or later please let us know and we can make arrangements for your check-in.

Smoking

The cabins are Non-Smoking. Each cabin provides easy access to the outdoors. We ask that you not smoke in open doorways and extinguish smoking materials in provided containers. We will charge additional cleaning fees if you smoke in any of the cabins.

Visitor Policy

The property and its amenities are for registered guests only. Visitors and family that are not registered as a guests on the property must register at the Front Desk upon arrival to obtain a pass. The cost of the pass will depend on the type and duration of the visit. Visitors are permitted on the property between the hours of 10am to 10pm only unless other arrangements have been made with management. Adherence to this policy ensures the safety and comfort of registered guests and staff.

Cancellation Policy

Individual Cabins: We require notice of your cancellation 30 DAYS PRIOR to the date you are scheduled to ARRIVE. Cabin reservations require a $200 deposit per cabin to guarantee your reservation. NO REFUNDS will be issued for any guest(s) who leave early or depart prior to the scheduled checkout date (regardless of personal reason). All guest are responsible to pay for their full reservation stay.

A cancellation fee equivalent to your deposit per cabin will apply if you cancel with less than 30 Days notice or fail to honour your reservation.

Campground Overnight: Reservations have a 24-hour cancellation. Please call at least 24 hours prior to your ARRIVAL for cancellation. NO REFUNDS will be issued for any guest(s) who leave early or depart prior to the scheduled checkout date (regardless of personal reason). All guest are responsible to pay for their full reservation stay.


Campground Seasonal: Deposit and Full Seasonal Payment are NON-REFUNDABLE. Payment in full is required on or before the 15th of May. A $300 Deposit is mandatory and must be paid by the end of season (Sept 30th) to guarantee a spot for the following Season.

Pet Policy

CABINS: Thunderbird Resort permits DOGS in certain cottages. If you will be bringing a dog with you please advise us upon booking to ensure we have a pet-friendly cabin available. If you arrive and then advise you have a dog, we may not have a cabin available for you, as our remaining cabins are kept pet-free.

There is a $10.00 per night fee (based on up to two dogs). Pets must be crated if they are left alone in a cabin. Guests are responsible for any damage done by their pets.

Pets other than dogs are not permitted. We may be able to accommodate more than two dogs, depending on the circumstances, please inquire.

We reserve the right to refuse pets based on size, length of stay, safety concerns for staff and other guests, or other factors we see fit.

We accommodate guests with service/therapy animals, please advise upon booking.

Campground: Dogs are permitted in the campground at no additional charge but must be leashed at all times.

All guests must keep their pets leashed and under control at all times when they are outside on the property. Please poop & scoop after your pets and place waste in designated disposal units.
